I CAME HOME TO A DESTROYED BATHROOM DOOR – WHEN I FOUND OUT WHAT HAPPENED, I FILED FOR DIVORCE I was away for just two days, but it was enough time for my husband and our daughter to end up with a destroyed bathroom door. When I got home, neither of them would tell me what happened. All I saw were pieces of wood scattered on the floor, a visibly stressed husband, and an awkward daughter who wouldn’t meet my eyes. Exhausted from the trip, I decided to talk to my husband in private the next day, assuming my daughter must’ve locked herself in. Before bed, I took out the trash (of course, my husband had let it pile up) and ran into our next-door neighbor. “I’m sorry for what happened,” he said. “I swear I didn’t know who was inside when I slammed the door.
